Gary Randall
Pastor Gary Randall, the retired Oregon televangelist who has long advocated against civil equality for LGBT Washingtonians, today admits that life goes on despite Washington state voters having approved the freedom to marry law last November:
People of faith and conservatives are starting to recover from substantial losses in this past election.
We experienced the second loss in a row nationally and worse in Washington State, with a loss by nearly every Republican running for statewide office, several districts losing races they should not have lost had they gotten proper support, marriage redefined and pot legalized.
However, the sun will come out tomorrow.
Truth will out. Randall’s statement begs the question, what was all the fuss about?

Chicken Little-ism is the Repiglickin’s bread & butter. They cannot give up the conspiarcy theories and victimhood, or like whales they will die. Other than the BS, they got nothin’.
Well, the sky has fallen on Texas and other States opposed to gay marriage! Clearly god is punishing Texas with fire for its anti-gay voting.
Better wording would be “Randall’s statement prompts the question: What was all the fuss about?”
To beg the question means to assume the conclusion in the premises.
Thanks, you’re right. Your wording would have been better. My usage of that phrase to mean “invites” isn’t incorrect, but it’s also not the primary definition and therefore introduced a distraction from the subject matter. That’s never good.
