As nauseating as he is, the candor of Bryan Fischer is refreshing.
The American Family Association spokesman does not embrace the passive-aggressive lies of Maggie Gallagher and the National Organization for Marriage. When it comes to the gay community, Fischer adopts a “I don’t like you nor your mama” approach:

Bryan Fischer was discussing the study produced by professor Mark Regnerus purporting to show that children of same-sex parents fare worse than children of heterosexual parents and the news that the University of Texas would be conducting an investigation into his study, seeing the latter as proof that “the homosexual lobby is vicious, they are venomous, [and] they are filled with hatred.” During the discussion, Fischer cited the study as evidence that children in same-sex homes are at a higher risk for sexual molestation, prompting him to declare that any parent “who goes into the homosexual lifestyle after siring children” should be denied custody and only allowed to have supervised visits with their children.

The Catholic Church has also stolen thousands of babies in countries all over the world, such as Spain and Australia. They told mothers they disapproved of (like single and unwed women) that their children had died during birth and then gave them up for adoption. Literally sold them. This went on for decades. They didn’t just rape children, but abused them in tons of other ways too.
Fischer’s candor may be refreshing, but his statements are abominable. Once again, the AFA is exposed as the hate group we already knew it to be.
Don’t forget Ireland where they locked up pregnant women, took their babies and shipped them off to other countries, and kept the women locked up, frequently for life. The Catholic Church’s Magdalen Scandals are frequently forgotten, just as the Maggies are

I knew this was going to come up sooner or later. If you use children as an excuse for not allowing gays and lesbians to marry its only one more step to take the kids away from them. I know a couple of Tea Party members who would do it in a flash if they had the power.
