For a man whose debunked “work” is still cited in the professional anti-gay world (by the likes of Tony Perkins, Peter LaBarbera, among others), Paul Cameron is horrible at debating his points when pressed. Witness his latest appearance on The David Pakman Show. David wrote me and said:
After appearing on my show last month and admitting that he was once attracted to men, anti-gay nut Paul Cameron came on today wanting to tout a study “proving” gay parents have more gay kids. I pointed out the many reasons why the study is bogus, including that it’s based on a meta-analysis of not studies but rather NARRATIVE books where the subjects were HAND PICKED by the authors.
He also went further into the male attraction/being abused thing, and I found it interested that he chose to use the word “being stimulated” for when he was abused, rather than a number of other words with the typical negative connotations that many would have for sexual abuse.
