not to rain on the parade…….but, just FYI….this woman IS mentally ill. she lives in a home in Lincoln for adults with mental and/or developmental disabilites. she is often on campuses (mostly Univ Nebr Lincoln) handing out pamphlets and randomly yelling things. students are pretty used to seeing her. several years ago when i was on campus there, two of my friends and I walked her home one day becaue she was so disoriented. i am not sure why she is allowed to do these things, but it was pretty clear from our interaction with her that she was most likely schizophrenic. either way, i just thought i’d point out that she actually does suffer from a mental disorder and that it is unlikely she really even understands what she is saying.

I’m 49. My wife is 69. We must be total statistical outliers.

One minute into the piece, and that was enough for me to agree with you. She’s got some serious problems.

Why the folks who supervise the home you refer to aren’t keeping closer watch on her is stunning. If this video is typical of her behavior, she may not be an imminent danger to herself or others, but she clearly needs closer attention.

She is mentally ill, her mind does not work right, there is an excuse for her. Tony Perkins, Scott Lively, Matt Barber, what is your excuse?

According to this article she suffers from schizophrenia (untreated?) but states that as long as she is not a danger to herself or others there is little any agency can do unless she is willing to request help.

I am 55, I have taught(Law) and raised children, and schizophrenic or not, she learned that bigoted nonsense from the Christian Right.
