Yes, more proof that “consent” is a foreign concept to fundies. And top it off with the fact that Beacon Baptist Church Pastor Tim Rabon seems to believe gays and lesbians aren’t even human. (Good As You):
So what does this key partner church [of Vote for Marriage NC] think of gays and their marriages? Well, while preaching at last Sunday’s “Marriage Sunday” service—”Marriage Sunday” being the day that the Vote For Marriage NC campaign set aside so that churches could preach in support of their campaign—Beacon Baptist Pastor Tim Rabon said this of the states that have legalized same-sex unions:
No, Pastor? We’re not far from it? Because I live in New York (and am myself legally married) and I can tell you: I’ve yet to see anyone trying to marry a Central Park pigeon. Just isn’t happening. Far from it.
Perhaps he needs to get together with David Gibbs III (a lawyer who in 2005 fought to keep brain-damaged Terri Schiavo on life support), who warned people at a rally in NC for the marriage amendment back in 2009, who said that “maybe people will want to marry their pets or robots.”
These bigots simply don’t believe marriage is an arrangement between consenting adults. Apparently the man is in control and the woman is simply chattel.

Sorry for the unrelated comment. But these anti-gay ad boxes keep popping up blocking the article. And there is no way to close the ad boxes.
I’m noticing the same problem with pop-up ads. I’ve had to reload pages multiple times to finish reading the articles.
There seems to have been a temporary page formatting problem.
Oh, the anti-gay ads are still appearing. But they’re not covering up more than half of the PHB stories anymore.
Apparently Google’s ad system is set to run ads according to how the client specifies they be run. The antigay ads are probably set to run in any Google-Ads-accepting website that uses certain trigger words.
I actually like seeing what sort of propaganda the antis are using, as seeing it makes it easier to combat.
