He SHOULD thank them. He owes them collectively at least $8.3M.

OTOH……anyone stupid enough to think that New Gingrich was a viable candidate or even remotely qualified to be president should have their head examined. I know why Gingrich thought he should be president. I just can;t fathom how in the hell anyone else agreed with him. Whatever money they spent and lost is money well spent on a lesson learned. My grandpa always said, If you’re gonna pay for your education, you might as well get your money’s worth.”

Newt served his corporate purpose; he helped drag Romney further right, when he won South Carolina.
And, by so doing, he gave Obama more room to keep shitting on progressives and getting away with it, as some of them would much prefer to point to how crazy Newt, etc., are, than talk about the preznint who just announced that we’re winning in Afghanistan.
I cordially invite everyone (especially, PAM! :O) ) to watch the clip of Obama’s speech in Afghanistan and tell us how it differs from the bullshit that George Bush was running.
