Does anyone down there at FOX35 know how to use “the Google?” The National Socialist Movement is designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
NSM ideology mirrors that of the original American Nazi Party. The group openly idolizes Adolf Hitler, described in NSM propaganda as, “Our Fuhrer, the beloved Holy Father of our age … a visionary in every respect.” NSM says only heterosexual “pure-blood whites” should be allowed U.S. citizenship and that all nonwhites should be deported, regardless of legal status. As Schoep put it: “The Constitution was written by white men alone. Therefore, it was intended for whites alone.”
UPDATE (6:45 PM ET): I guess someone editing the MyFox site got wind of the Twitter-sh*tstorm over this and tried to paper over it, still not pointing out it’s a neo-Nazi hate group. That’s journalism, for you.

Ever since Reconstruction, the south has been afraid of angry blacks attacking white communities and sexually assaulting the women. Maybe if there wasn’t a feeling that they really do have something to apologize for this crazy paranoia would go away.
I’m a 61 year old retired white guy and I wish before I die poor and working class blacks and whites can unite as a class and kick some teabagger, neoconfederate ass from Virginia all the way through the old confederacy. Enough of this counter-productive divide and conquer bullshit.
And progressive sites and media should start calling these people Nazis in public. That’s the history and tradition they’ve adopted, and the name they’ve chosen for themselves.
Maybe the American people are as stupid as the right wing groups believe and they don’t know what Nazi is short for?

Are “pro-family” or “pro-marriage” accurate descriptors?
Depends on how those descriptors are used.
If pushing for economic policies which benefit the vast majority of families, as opposed to those already at the top of the financial ladder, then “pro-family” is perfectly appropriate.
A single-payer healthcare system would definitely be “pro-family”.
If pushing for same-sex marriage, then “pro-marriage” is a perfectly appropriate description.

Liars like Limbaugh and Coulter will point to the word socialist in that group’s name to claim that they are leftists. However, a “national socialist” is not the same as a socialist (though I care for neither). Fascists use the term “national socialist” to mean seizing the property of foreign corporations and foreign-born individuals and redistributing it to native entities. It is not socialism, but nativism.
