And these are the folks who rail on about Sharia Law. Via People for the American Way’s Right Wing Watch an off-the-rails sermon that is a call to overthrow governments and install their religious reign:
“During a Spiritual Warfare conference at Rick Joyner’s MorningStar Ministries, Pastor Ryan Wyatt of Abiding Glory Church preached on “Governmental Dominion.” Wyatt explained that Jesus is not going to come back until God sees that there is a “mature, overcoming bride” is “operating at the same level” as Jesus, at which point Christ will return and Christians “will work with Jesus to rule and reign.” Later, Wyatt said that “we are to rule, reign, govern, expand, advance and establish the government of God on the earth” since “this is about world domination.” He called on followers to “infiltrate” the seven mountains of influence, especially the government mountain, to attain “preparatory dominion.”

So they don’t want that horrible thing called Sharia Law. They want the exact same thing under a different name. I’m reminded of the well-known story about the academic who wrote a paper claiming the Iliad wasn’t written by Homer but by another man of the same name.
As for Jesus coming back, what would he want with a bride, mature or otherwise, when he can just bring his Beloved Disciple back with him? Then these clucks can put them both on trial under their Not-the-Sharia Law.
And gay people have an agenda. Sheesh.
It still fascinates me that hatemongers are still the dominate group of so-called Christians in this country who continue to insis this isn’t “Christianity”. Actually, yes it is, just not the type that so-called Progressives/Liberals like or believe it should be or claim it is. Add that to the fact many show absolute devotion in their perspective of where we rank makes me believe, as awful as this sounds, that there may be legitimacy in their “beliefs/opinions”. Anyone can argue what that tired book says….It’s never ending battle of what Group A says is this and Group B says is that yet Group C insists this what it truly says. Apologetics, whiny excuses, selective interpretations, selective scriptures, and selective morality or accusations of intolerance and bigotry if you dare challenge or reject so-called True Christianity make my head spin.
I suppose this is probably another misguided individual who needs to be “reached out” and we should try to “change his heart”. Who must show love, compassion and tolerance!

Well, I am only in the States for the weekend(two friends fo mine finally got married in NY after 31 years together raising a family) and have a ticket back to Spain for the morning….but these Domionists are what the troubles in America are all about,
First, the Mormons, Evangelicals and Catholics will stone the LGBTs
Then the Catholics and Evangelicals will pick up the stones and stone the Mormons.
Then, the Evangelicals will pick up the stones and stone the Catholics.
