…when your campaign spokeswoman must release this statement to the Washington Post:
“in no uncertain terms, Congresswoman Bachmann believes that slavery was horrible.”
Well, that’s a progressive attitude, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann.
For 1862.
I would have thought that goes without saying in 2011. But maybe we run in different crowds.
Is this a harbinger of a new campaign theme?
Bachmann 2012!
You Can Trust Her With The Emancipation Proclamation! No. Really. You can.
Is the Congresswoman now prepared to state in no uncertain terms whether or not she is a witch?

If only she were that goodon the 14th amendment, huh?
Shhhhh…Let’s hold off with this stuff until she actually receives the Republican nomination. I’d rather see an out bigot nominee than a closet hater.
A Bachmann/O’Donnell ticket would be fun…
What, cynical? Us?
And given that we’re guaranteed to get one or the other…
Meanwhile, the banner below this post for me is an appeal for donations to Ron Paul’s campaign so he can prevent raising the debt ceiling.
I would love to see Bachmann/PalinTheir slogan could be, “It’s a no-brainer.”
Although that would probably work with Bachmann / O’Donnell, too.
It would belike watching one of those old Hal Roach comedies starring Thelma Todd and ZaSu Pitts.
And we all thoughtChristine O’Donnel’s “I am not a witch” was bad.
The Bachmann/Palin campaign theme songIt would just have to be “Pretty Vacant”.
