The Arizona Senator has a hard-on for discrimination. He confirmed it on the state’s Channel 12 Sunday. (The Advocate):
“When asked how far he would go to prevent an attempt to repeal the controversial policy from being approved in the upper congressional chamber, McCain responded by saying, ‘Absolutely I will filibuster or stop it from being brought up until we have a thorough and complete study on the effect of morale and battle effectiveness.’”
He’s referring to the ridiculous, Freepable Pentagon study that has useless compromised data. Nice.

McCain is obviouslymaking his bid to fill the vacuum left by the death of Strom Thurmond. How long before we learn he has an out-of-wedlock son who’s gay?
So what……is McCain’s military experience again when it comes to gay people serving?
He has claimed on more than one occasionthat ALL of the North Vietnamese soldiers who tortured him were gay. How he knows that, he has never deigned to share with us. But a politician would never tell a fib, would he? So obviously if DADT is lifted all of our service members will turn into ravenous, slobbering torturers. We must prevent that. Torturing is the CIA’s job.
Now we know why President Obamahas been insisting on a Legislative solution. He knows he can count on a few Senators like McCain to block it. Win-win for both of them, no? Lot’s of great photo-op posturing, no real risk from their point of view.
Call your congressmen here: 800-828-0498 Congressional Switchboard
202-224-3121 Main Capitol Switchboard
Tell them to overpower homophone John McCain and to pass DADT, DOMA repeal, and ENDA.
This is the legacy of the Republican Party.
The House did pass it….Just NOT the SENATE!!…and my Congressman is full on teaparty..he would NOT debate his opponent here in town.. after Opponent drove 3 hours to get here!…at least BOTH my Senators voted for it. WHAT we need from the LCR's et al is some Republican Senators to grow up and vote for it.
I’m glad this man does not represent me.This man is a class A Asshole. He is out of touch with reality. He is out of touch with the military and how professional and mature they are.
The fact that the Pentagon is pushing so hard against this gives the public perception that senior leadership in the military to not have confidence in their troops.
Maybe it’s me, but my anger against Mc Cain is starting to boil over to the people and state of Arizona itself for keeping this dino in office.
I do believe that the American People made the right choice in NOT having him for a President. Every day this man is in office, is another shining example of why he should not be president.
