From NOI’s Sam Oliker-Friedland:
Do you register voters, help them cast an early ballot, or make sure their vote is counted on Election Day? Good news-the New Organizing Institute has collected everything you need to know in the Organizer’s Guide to Election Administration.NOI collected all fifty states’ election laws as they pertain to organizers and put them in one place for you: http://bit.ly/statelaw. The database covers rules around voter registration drives, absentee voting, early voting, online voter registration, poll watching, primaries, and lots more. Basically everything you need as an organizer to register, turn out, and protect the vote, fully sourced and dated. Please share with your colleagues and allies!

Oh sweet! Now if we could just shove it all into my ears and hope it sets before 2012… ;)
Seriously, this is invaluable. Great job, Wonder Twin!
Why bother to vote? Why bother to vote if the party you vote for turns around and shits on us? Why bother to vote for a party that says one thing to our faces and then makes excuses when they get into office?
Lurleen, why do you and the Democratic Party insist on ignoring all the criticisms and questions that the lgbt community has been asking? Why is your only response “be good little gays, do what you’re told, shut up and vote for the Democrats?”
The only moral vote this election season is NONE OF THE ABOVE. I will never vote for a party that says that in order for me to have equal rights, I have to support war. You may have no problem with having children die for your rights, but I do.
Nobody is demanding that you vote, lrlopez74The information above is for people who can look at voting records and tell the difference between pro- and anti-equality legislators. The information above is for people who aren’t going to roll over and give up.
