DishearteningThis is really confusing and upsetting to me.  I mean, am I supposed to be a savage brute or limp-wristed sissy?  Do I take pleasure in violently killing a fellow human being or do I jump up on a chair and scream at the top of my lungs when I see a mouse?

You’re supposed to be both.Like the fag villain in a Hitchcock movie (Rope, Strangers on a Train, etc.), you’re supposed to be a limp-wristed namby-pamby aesthete, with a barely submerged vicious streak (presumably to compensate for your limp-wristed namby-pambiness) that leads to vicious murders whenever you get the chance.  
These idiots derive their world view (such as it is) from Hollywood.  Their simple-minded approach to religion is pure DeMille.  Likewise their view of history.  And their view of gay people is even more clearly movie-inspired.  Gay men are either pansies or psychos (or, not infrequently, both), lesbians are icepick-wielding man-haters, trans women combine the worst attributes of both.  And on and on.
I love classic film, but classic Hollywood’s view of the world is patently false.  Yet large numbers of people have internalized it–with the anti-LGBT crowd at the top of the list.

What did the lesbian Nazis do?Ok, they’ve covered the inherent savagery of gay men (often expressed as queenly snark) with Herr Lively, but what did we lesbians do to promote the homohitler regime?  Why are we always left out in serious historical narratives?  The patriarchy sucks.
I think that the Jon Stewart show needs to do a follow-up with Beverly LaHaye to get the truth here.  I need to know how to act in our imminent regime.  If I don’t know the right path, I may end up being one of those unfortunate lesbians who is persecuted and killed as a distraction…
