Freedom To Marry’s Evan Wolfson and I were on the “Organizing the Equality Movement in the Obama Era” panel at Netroots Nation 2010, and I sat down with him a bit later in the conference to get his thoughts (as a first-time attendee)
If you didn’t catch the NN panel, it’s below the fold.

I’m sure it will be interesting…I’ll fire it up ASAP. And btw, I was so glad to see you and other Blenders here in Vegas for Netroots Nation. It was certainly interesting!
And yes, no more lurking for me…
I admit, I still feel a little burned…After California and Maine, but without a doubt marriage equality is NOT a fight to give up. We’ll win, and we’ll win in our lifetime. I don’t know how many more states we’ll win in the next five years or how soon the Supreme Court FINALLY overturns these unconstitutional state marriage bans and DOMA, but I know we’ll see equality soon. It just takes A LOT of hard work.
Where’s the video? Can’t seem to find it. I was looking forward to watching it:-(
Ustream seemed to have changed the embedI just replaced it with the current one.

Great panel
Great panel but I found it curious that when discussing marriage which is connected among many things, to immigration, no one from Immigration Equality or Out4immigration were there.
You have to attendI don’t know if groups from either were in attendance.
