Believe it or not, there is a level of anti-gay too extreme for Chick Publications.
Supposedly there was a tract called Wounded Children that was recalled years ago. Wounded Children supposedly tells the story of how a child becomes gay and is “made a victim of the gay lifestyle.”
Because it was recalled, I couldn't find anything on the Chick Publications site.
HOWEVER, through the magic of youtube, I found a copy of Wounded Children along with verbal accompaniment:
Now if this is too boring for you, then the following video is right up your alley. It is an adaptation of Wounded Children presented exactly as it was from the tract, accept for minor changes:
There is a part two but unfortunately the sound has been disabled due to copyright.
It's a real shame, too. I was dying to see how this story would turn out.

Makes me wonder…I wonder how much “research” the original author of the tract did before he put out this little artistic masterpiece? I wonder if it was more or less than what Peter LaBarbera has done?
I enjoyed the voice acting XDBut who is the Ann person they kept bringing up in their added dialogue? I don’t know who that is.
Ann personThey are using the internet meme ‘An Hero’. Roughly means someone who kills themselves for a stupid reason or someone who does something stupid that gets themselves killed. The origin of the phrase is typical internet cesspool fare.
It takes a profoundly clueless person…To ostensibly support gays against religious persecution, and even say directly that increased rates of suicide are due to society looking down on gays, while playing up a disgusting stereotypical ‘queen-y’ voice and peppering your narrative with gay jokes. I could barely get through that, both because of the chick tract and the narrator.
Easy to see why Chick withdrew itIt doesn’t end with David burning in Hell.
ALL Jack Chick comics end with people burning in Hell.

Makes me wonder,Don’t these people have better things to do with their time? Have they no morals, scruples, compassion or love for thy neighbor? These are psychotic authoritarian tracts that have no basis in reality.

I read somewhere….I read somewhere this was originally written in 1977, so the A.I.D.S. references must have been added to later editions of it.
It’s pretty ludicrous, even by Chick standards.
It’s too bad the sound was removed from part two of the live-action adaptation of it. I will say this: minus the horns and the pointy ears, the guy playing the devil is kinda hot.

Free SpeechSome CHICK supporter keeps on leaving those publications on the outside tables at Starbucks in town; I’ve alerted the manager more than once. ”THE SISSY” issue is esp. offensive.
But I believe in free speech, so when I see them, I “express” myself by tearing them lengthwise in two, making a cross, and taping it on the table. Call it public art.
