The intrepid Mike Stark catches unethical, sleazy, scandal-ridden, gay-hating (with an HRC 0% rating to prove it), Republican U.S. Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) and asks him a question that’s been buzzing around in his district and in local news rooms FOR YEARS.

McHenry, named one of 20 most conservative House members in the nation, takes a different route than, say, Roy Ashburnhe’s absolutely not gay. Listen closely as he squeaks out the bottom line “No” for Stark.

Much more about the altar-bound Congressman below the fold. But the local media in McHenry’s very conservative district surely know this truth, or they would report otherwise, right? And look at this, from the morally upstanding Congressman – this certainly proves it:

Um, well, not exactly. This was back in 2008, when Patty was partying with Jackie Sullens, who wrote the newsletter for the Gaston County Republican Women at the time, and she openly lived with another woman.

Mike Rogers of BlogActive has had his radar on Patty for some time. Back then he said:

So, what do hard right wing congressmen do when they are hanging out with right wing conservative friends like Jackie and the woman she lives with? In photographs obtained by BlogActive, Pat McHenry is not acting very conservative. Oh wait, based on the past few years… he IS acting like a conservative!

But those days are so over. Rep. McHenry is no longer an eligible bachelor, gals — he’s found someone to be his bride; they met “through mutual friends.”

One can only hope that for the young woman’s sake, it’s more than a Crist-like love connection a truly blessed event. They are registered at Crate and Barrel and plan to take their sacred marital vows on June 5.

He has a lot to live up to, after all, his Congressional web page says:

Congressman McHenry has always been a vocal advocate of traditional values and strongly supports a constitutional amendment outlining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. He believes that Congress must act to curb the influence of judicial activists who seek to recklessly redefine marriage and other traditional institutions.

Marriage, family and community are not just catch phrases; they are the backbone of American society. Sadly, however, there is an organized effort by the radical left and their allies in Hollywood and academia to destroy our traditional American culture.

America is an inclusive nation and we respect other cultures and traditions, but we must defend what is sacred in our country from the reckless actions of a dangerous few who seek to impose their radical view on all of society.

McHenry faces Scott Keadle in the GOP primary this year, and perhaps now the 10th district is ready for Pat to go on an extended honeymoon. Very extended — and not in DC.
