The above video is the essence of the term “going too far.”
This video by World Net Daily writer Molotov (and believe me when I say that the name fits) Mitchell has been around for months. It was shocking when I first saw it and when I view it now, I am still repulsed.
In this video, Mitchell criticizes Rick Warren for speaking out against the infamous Ugandan “kill the gays” bill.
And just so that no one mistakes his position, Mitchell goes into detail as to why he thinks Uganda is correct for pushing this bill, which goes as far as punishing gays and lesbians with the death penalty.
Amongst Mitchell's points:
The Bible is totally on Uganda's side,
Uganda is merely reacting because an “evil homosexual king, Mwanga” raped young boys and murdered a group of them who would not have sex with him (never mind that this incident took place between the years of 1885-1886),
Uganda “doesn't want to kill homosexuals, they just want them to stop practicing homosexual acts,”
If gay Ugandans don't like the law, they can leave,
and the Founding Fathers would have agreed with Ugandans. I believe his words were (at 2:51): “Ugandans are making decisions that our very Founding Fathers made so long ago but we are terrified to touch today.”
But the most offensive item from this video comes at 3:00 when Mitchell actually evokes the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to justify not only this bill but his labored defense of it: “Like the great Dr. King told us, 'the moral arm of the universe is long but it bends towards justice.' Ugandans, stay on the right side of history.”
Mitchell's diatribe is probably the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and the fact that he actually evokes the words of Dr. King, a man who died for the causes of justice and nonviolence, to support a bill which would create genocide is beyond foul.
And it further illustrates the futility of the argument taking place between the gay and black communities about whether or not the civil rights movement of yesterday is the same as the gay rights movement of today.
Both communities need to recognize that while they are playing a useless game of position, people who share both identities (gay and black) are getting wiped out.

Absolutely correct Alvinbeyond foul
Molotov needs to learn Martin had absolutely nothing but affection and respect for gay men in his inner circle of friends. Or he could read Coretta’s fierce defense of LGBT Rights.
yes, Corretta Scott King was a saint of LGBT personsnow her daughter is exactly the opposite.
Back on the subject of this video…absolutely appalling. If Youtube had any standards at all they would delete it. It basically approves of the killing of LGBT persons. Specifically gay men…but I guess that isn’t cause for alarm in this United States of America, where our progressive President sponsored the South Carolina Homophobic Road Show.
They want to KILL us.Doesn’t matter to them what color/”race”/ethnicity you are. If you are LGBT or even a friend – they want to kill you.
Not some unknown, unspoken of gay —– they want to kill YOU.
There are quite a few who really think that’s the way to deal with the “gay issue”.
Those who live in nice, “gay friendly” places, who just can’t even begin to believe anyone would want to harm a nice person like you – maybe some nutcase, but, not one of your neighbors, someone you do business with, etc.
Well, yes – they want to KILL YOU.
As someone has said – Uganda is a case of “testmarketing”. The good “christians” want to see if it will fly. They would really like to scapegoat SOMEONE – can’t do the Jews again. Too many Muslims and Hindus. So, pick the one series of groups that EVERYONE has hated, can hate – the good old LGBT communities.
Throw in NAMBLA, beastiality, “open relationships” – and DISEASE.
Tell lies, then tell them again, and again, and again.
After all – Obama is a Muslim, he wasn’t born in the USA, AND he’s a nazi/commie/socialist/oneworlder/anti-gun/anti “real christian/anti-the constitution/arrogant AND “uppity”.
There are quite a few folks who believe some or all of the above.
With the advent of bad times, with a dissolving middle class, and folks looking for SOMEONE to blame – who better than teh gayze? No more liberal-conservative crap. No more sectarian bickering. No more sectionalism.
Go get those abominations, those immoral, evil, sodomites.
What Martin, or anyone else actually thought is unimportant. GET THEM GAYZ!!
Laws like this are how the Nazis and the KKK-Jim Crow Democrats began their killing sprees. Peter Tatchell, one of the most widely respected leaders of the international LGBT movement just this morning passed along a YouTube video that lays out in the clearest way the Ugandan christers intent to murder every GLBT person they can.
It’s a must see illuminating look at how mass murder begins. It’s part of a global assault that includes the christer right in the US including ex-gay scum and their ringmaster Rick Warren, who used Obama to defeat prop 8 in California. A vicious pogrom is underway in neighboring Kenya and will no doubt bolster the killer christers efforts in Zimbabwe and other nations including islamist Iran and US occupied Iraq and Afghanistan.
The new Ugandan laws are much more comprehensive and violent than islamist Sharia law.
Turn off the Olympics and watch this video as if your life depended on it. It just might.

We should insist that the UN prohibit member countries from having any relations - except trade or aid in food, medical and sanitary supplies – with Uganda if this bill passes.
We should demand that the EU and US offer an open ended amnesty, immigrant status and social services to any LGBT folks fleeing countries where christers and islamists are conducting pogroms or state sponsored mass murder campaigns against LGBT folks.
They are not “Free to Leave”Members of the Ugandan Government has indicated their intent to use the proposed LGBT Final Solution law to indict Ugandan LGBT’s overseas and demand the extradition home of these individuals
Oh, and Catholic Media PriestFr Frank Pavone of “Priests for Life” is a supporter of the creator of that offensive vid.
Reich-Vatican Concordat time, anyone?
Apparently supporting life does not go quite so far as Gays in nations where the CHurch has the power to oppress them….
Dr. Kritzinger, Reichschancellery:
“The Fuehrer denied, he denied to me that we were killing the Jews!”
Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, RSHA, SS:
“And he will continue to deny it. Do you understand that?”
(from the minutes of the Wannsee Conference)
Oh, and Mr. MitchellThis Lesbian who is just an attorney as opposed to Dr Maddow, currently specialising in prosecuting genocide, would like to remind you that my predecessors successfully hanged Julius Streicher and Dr Rosenberg for doing what you are doing…inciting mass murder and defending it using media…
not today, not tomorrow, but someday, me, or someone sitting behind my desk, will have you picked up in an European airport and taken to a lovely city in The Netherlands…..for trial once your dream of queer genocide has come true. Or perhaps something like the Eichmann operation if you sit hiding in the US…
Wow, what a scary adThe people who made this piece of propaganda have learned well from their predecessors. But so many so-called “facts” are distorted.
Jesus is not reported to have uttered a single word against gay people (Cite to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – not ONE word) and did have one positive thing to say about trans people (Mt. 19:12, which relates back to Isaiah 56 and forward to Acts 8).
Jesus seems to have been opposed to the death penalty – witness the fact that he stopped stonings (John 8:3-11,15) and frowned on human judgment of others (Matthew 7:1, Luke 6:37,
As to the Old Testament Law being still in force for Christians? Read Matthew 5:18, Luke 24:44 and John 15:25, and then Romans 13:7-10. There’s the spirit of the Law, rather than the letter. And then, In Acts, it is reported that the Council of Jerusalem resulted in only a few aspects of the old Law being binding on Christians who are not also Jews, primarily to abstain from meat offered to idols, blood, strangled things and fornication. (Acts 15:28-29, but the whole chapter describes the Council).
The characterization of Mwanga of Buganda is also exaggerated: According to Wikipedia,he had sixteen wives and fathered seven sons and four daughters. From what I can gather, he was not “gay” in the sense of identity. His male sex objects were young pages in his court – in our culture he’d be a heterosexual man with a taste for pedophilia. In his cultural milieu, he was the ruler and could pretty much do whatever he wanted, and his sexual appetites seem to have resembled those of the ancient Greeks in a way – in addition to women, he liked boys. It does not appear that he had any taste for sexual relationships with other adult men, which the propaganda video seems to imply as his sole sexual interest.
The “22 Ugandan Martyrs” only count the Roman Catholics – he had earlier had executed over 45 of his pages for converting to Christianity and refusing his royal prerogative.
According to Wikipedia, Mwanga’s father played Catholics, Protestants and Muslims, and the colonial powers backing each, against each other. Mwanga himself took a more aggressive stance, trying to root out foreign beliefs, and killing missionaries and converts. The 67 or more “martyrs” were killed in part because their conversions were seen as recognition of foreign colonial power, and their refusal to partake in the previously non-problematical sex was an act of rebellion against their king. From the standpoint of the Bugandan culture at the time, Mwanga was acting within his power as an absolute ruler – and the executions were a means of enforcing his authority against those who defied it.
After Mwanga was deposed, he made accommodations with the British, who then backed him again, and then the British were able to establish a Protectorate – once he realized that this was destroying the Bugandan culture, he rose up in revolt in 1897, but lost.
The portrayal in Molotov Mitchell’s propaganda video is shocking, and while there may be bits of fact, they are twisted terribly.
I can certainly believe Maura’s mention of “Priests for Life” Fr. Frank Padone as being one of the luminaries behind the propaganda – no mention in the video of the 45 Anglicans, only the 22 Catholics . . . showing that Molotov Mitchell and his creepy priest friend might figure on executing anyone who doesn’t convert to Roman Catholicism. First they come for us, and then they come for everyone else.
I wonder if Bernice Kingknows in her sanctified soul that her father would not approve of the “kill the gays” bill?
Not only thatBut most Ugandans are likely too poor to simply up and leave for some more gay-friendly country.
AAARRRGGGGHIt’s bad enough to associate MLK’s name with this bill, but FFS, it’s a really famous quote–is it that hard for this guy to get it right?
The moral arc of history is long, not the arm. Sheesh, it’s quoted all the time, like, everywhere.
For the broken record…1. Mitchell left out the part about Idi Amin’s anti-gay tyranny.
2. If he thinks that Uganda is “more American than America”, then he should move to that filthy sh*thole of a country.
3. Perhaps King Mwanga wants to get rid of the Catholic sodomite priests.
4. The Founding Fathers did stuff that even the WND elitists would disapprove of. George Washington cheated on his wife Martha a lot of times with various women, more than Bill Clinton.
5. He completely left out the association between MLK Jr. and Bayard Rustin.
Molotov Mitchell distorts stuff to suit his own agenda. That’s why WND likes him so much.
Asylum not Amnesty above
Look carefully at the letters on Molotov Mitchell’s right forearmHe has a tatoo that says “ZEALOT” on his arm.
I googled him. He’s described as a “punk Dominionist” (Christianist), and he’s responsible for a number of propaganda pieces, ranging from the ridiculous, attacking President Obama’s citizenship, to the sublimely ridiculous, making and eating cookies with picturs of the Prophet Muhammed on them.
(Well, until Islamists started trying to kill Salman Rushdie and Danish cartoonists for blasphemy, I might have thought that last was as offensive as most of the rest of Mitchell’s work. Given that Christianist Mitchell is as nutty as any Islamist, I’d think it’d be interesting to see his crusade intersecting with their jihad.)
I haven’t found the connection between Mitchell and Pavone, but I am still looking.
One interesting place to springboard from:

Hers is another example of Mitchell’s idiocyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v…
Bernice King…what a devil…There is not a word to adequately describe her that I can use in public.
