Really,, is anyone surprised?The religious right would rather break the law than acknowledge us as human beings.  And they do this while wrapping themselves in the American flag.  Lisa Miller has been thoroughly brainwashed.
It won’t surprise me one bit when we discover that members of the Thomas Road Baptist “Chruch” are found to have been harboring her or to have otherwise aided and abetted this criminal kidnapping.

I hope it works out for Janet and little IsabellaCertainly my prayers are with all involved, specifically little Isabella an Janet Jenkins.
I also think it’s important for this situation to be defined the right way. Jenkins is also Isabella’s parent but I have read several headlines that make it seem that Miller is being “forced” to hand over her daughter to a “stranger.”
That is so inaccurate. And I hope there is more clarification of the situation.

What are the facts in this case?I’d love to ‘do battle’ with some of the Reich supporters in the comments section of other blogs/articles on this topic.  I just need THE facts to refute the myths that have sprung up.  The big one is that Janet Jenkins, the nonbiological parent, ignored her daughter for five years before suddenly demanding custody.  The spreaders of this misinformation then go on to say that the 5-year lapse followed by sudden demands for custody is in support for the  (wait for it…) “Homosexual Agenda!!!”  (da-da-da-dum!)
To refute this, I need to know what actually happened.  I need URLs to articles that support the fact-based narrative.
The longer the reich gets to bay their lies and misinformation, the harder it is to clean up the mess.

The sad thing is…that undoubtedly Miller and her enablers have so poisoned Isabella’s mind against Jenkins that it will be difficult of not impossible for Jenkins to have any sort of relationship with Isabella.
The longer Miller is allowed to keep Isabella, the more solidified that poison will have become.

Also she should file a CRIMINAL CONTEMPT  Not only against Lisa, but Lisa’s attorneys as it is known they worked with other right wing religious groups.  It will be interesting to watch, as I had to prove my innocence of all the trumped up Bull Shit charges brought up by my ex.  But in the court’s eyes I was guilty because I was Trans.
 If I were Janet, I would name Tony Perkins as an accomplice to the hiding of Lisa and the child.  

This is not just about criminal contemptAt this point, Miller is treading in the area of criminal law: custodial interference and/or kidnapping on the state level, and violations of the Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act on the federal level.  She should be arrested and charged.
As for the lawyers, it depends on what they knew/know.  Like many, I strongly suspect that Matt Staver and the others not only know her plans but helped her.  On the other hand, I have had more than one client abscond with the kids without telling me anything.  It’s a tricky situation.

In other words these Christians can’t play morality against morality. They took this poor lesbian to court in order to take her baby away from her and they lost to their own surprise. Now they want to claim a higher authority will allow them to defy the authority they thought to use to advance their own discrimination? That is certainly not something Jesus would do!

I actually fear for Isabella’s safetyI wish I was kidding here, but I’m not.  I believe Isabella is in grave danger.  I’ve seen situations where parents kill their own children when they’re about to get ripped away in murder/suicide situations, especially when you wrap it up with religious BS.
