The legislation would inflict severe penalties upon gay Ugandans, up to and including the death penalty. As a member of the fundamentalist group “The Family,” Senator Grassley has been an influential voice in African affairs and should lend his voice to oppose this affront to human rights.

Why aren’t we asking each and every senator to denounce it?Well, of course, except those in the FAMILY who we know are promoting it.
Here is petition to UGANDAns themselves…Over one thousand already signed.
This is an initiative by One Iowawith respect to their Senator who has been heavily involved in Uganda and with the anti-gay “The Family”. If you or others want to contact your own senators or, better yet, organize a similar Senate-wide project, more power to you and I’ll certainly sign your petition!
Signed. My guess is that the Rapture will carry Grassley away before he speaks out against this horrible law, but I guess we can hope.
signed
Signed too, but let’s get him out of office all the same……and replace him with Roxanne Conlin.
