Via the Washington Blade:
If you really want to erase that bile from your mind, remember this WWII veteran — 86-year-old Mainer Philip Spooner — a patriot and supporter of equal rights for all.
“The woman at my polling place asked me do I believe in equality for gay and lesbian people. I was pretty surprised to be asked a question like that. It made no sense to me. Finally I asked her: what do you think I fought for in Omaha Beach?”

Disgraceful Pigs
Disgusting…Way to be homophobic AND unpatriotic AND downright hateful! You go, Phelps clan! Keep it klassy.
Nuts.Do these inbreds have anything better to do with their time?
Like playing in traffic.
Tired of hearing about themThey get off on the attention so why are we giving it to them? I say no more news articles, no more blog posts until all they have to protest is each other.

DammitSorry for the doublepost. Phone is acting cranky tonite.
And let’s remember & thank OUR OWN this Veterans Day!
burkEvery time these people show their faces they exhibit the most vile evil imaginable.
Can’t we vote them off the island?
Ban Phelps?Best way to deter the Phelps cult is to announce whenever they show up anywhere that for every minute they’re out there spewing their bile, a certain amount per minute goes to a TLBG charity.
Had people known they were going to defile the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetary, money could’ve gone to the Transgender Veterans Association or groups fighting for the repeal of DA/DT.
Don’t forget that they got aroused by the Fort Hood massacre.
Set these jackasses on Permanent ignore. They are attention-whores. Deny them what they want.
Thank you for Spooner clipI spent all day yesterday ridding myself of the anger I felt towards Maine this past week and between this clip, a long visit with Dawn and Laura, lobster/butter ice cream (REALLY) and a fantastic tour of Acadia “off season”, seeing this restored my faith in why I love Maine.
Even if we do have alot of work cut out for us here…
These people have no morals, no manners, no class, and no brains. They are pathetic, putrid, puerile, followers of a fascist, fallacious, moronic Mephistopheles.
