I really didn’t want to blog about the Balloon Boy saga since it was a complete waste of MSM time when there are more important things to cover. But lo and behold, the sickness of this father extends beyond wanting to be a reality TV star and making his children pawns in the process. No, Mommy and Daddy Dearest made Falcon and his siblings sing gay-bashing songs and loaded it up onto YouTube.
You know you have bad parents when they fool the the entire world into thinking that their six-year-old son is stuck in a balloon floating in the Colorado air. You know you have even worse parents when those same people allow their children to record a homophobic rap video, complete with lines like “I hate gay faggots, I hit ‘em with a bat,” and (possibly) “Faggot tried to pee on me.”
Isn’t it time to take these kids away from these dysfunctional, disturbed, and abusive parents, while some mental health professionals look at this diseased situation?

I agree. These kids should be taken away. As I mentioned previously in the racist JOP thread, the ONLY criteria for raising children should be if they can be raised in an environment of love instead of one of hate. These parents obviously failed that test.
There Has Been Reports of Domestic Violence tooThis is a very sick family system (as social workers would say). I do hope child welfare gets in there and finds out what is going on. There was a 911 call made before regarding an incident of domestic violence, but insufficient evidence to take it to court. I am sure this father is over controlling and sounds like a meglomaniac. This is really screwed up. They should be taken away under these circumstances.

Strike Two. This video? Strike Three. Take the kids away and clap Dad in jail, let him work out his homosexuality issues there.

Although this isn’t relevant to LGBT issues …I was talking to someone at work today about the video and among a great many things wrong with it and the irresponsibility of the Heenes as parents, is having the kids walking along railroad tracks.
10 odd years ago when we put a railroad museum here in Danbury, we participated in a saftey program with railroads called “Operation Livesaver”, in which among other things it taught kids through video and oral presentation to stay away from railroad tracks and never, ever walk railroad tracks.
Well this video throws that whole saftey concept out the window. I wonder how many kids will watch the video and think it’s okay to walk the tracks.
If a kid gets injured or killed by a train because of this video it will be on the head of Richard Heene.
YouTube “rap”It was almost impossible to make out what they were saying but what I could make out was disgusting. This is how one verse goes: “I looked up in the tree, what do I see? I see faggots trying to pee on me. So I picked up a rock, threw it at his (shows picture of a rooster, i.e. cock while the child roars and growls) The rest is very garbled, but it sounds like, “He fell to the floor, and (something-something) fell off. Took him to the doctor, the doc said sorry about that, HE’S DEAD”
No argument is needed to see how perverse this thing is. But, aren’t there laws against corrupting the morals of minors? And what is it with Ft. Collins Colorado? A bunch of people from there were in San Francisco when prop 8 was being fought. They all had Ft. Collins license plate frames and stickers on their cars and were riding around city hall gay-bashing their little hearts out.

Child Welfare ResponseIf the Child Welfare department in Ft. Collins is typical of the ones nationwide, I would assume the children will be removed from the home while mom and dad take classes on how to be a good parent and then maybe two weeks later they’ll be right back with them again.
I guess that’s just more proofthat children are best raised by one man and one woman.
