A few weeks ago I got an email from Teresa at Pretty Pink Pearl, a fun social networking site for LGBT folk in Britain. Clicking around the site made me realize that I’ve been plodding in a pretty well-worn path website-wise. There must be so much out there in the extra-American LGBT blogosphere that I’m unaware of. So Blend readers, what have I been missing? Are there American Blenders who also “blog abroad”? I know some Blenders have at least one if not both feet in other countries. What are your favorite LGBTQ blogs & websites based outside of the USA?
Q of the Day: What’s your favorite non-American LGBTQ blog or website? |

OpusGayChile has a surprisingly active and open glbt community… gay lawmakers, union leaders, academics etc. On the other hand, it’s a country where divorce has been legal for less than five years and the Church remains powerful… especially the ultra-rectionary “Opus Dei” movement… which, of course, means the gay site MUSt be “Opus Gay” (http://opusgay.cl)
He’s thereAt least to the best of my knowledge. He writes like he’s there (talked about the riots last month during them, etc.).
