After molesting and doing who knows what to as many as 30 boys from the suburbs of Chicago, Fred Lenczycki, 65, a Roman Catholic priest, has earned the dubious title of being the first of Papa Ratzi’s criminal pedophile syndicate members to be declared “sexually violent.”
What are the chances that he’s been “rehabilitated”? Um…I’ll put a bet down on…zero. (Chicago Trib):
State officials said that he will be living in Cook County, not with a family member, and that the people in charge of his future treatment will register him at a local police station today as a child sex offender.
The exact details of his treatment plan and his residence were not released this morning. DuPage Judge Bonnie Wheaton impounded the case file last year to protect the identity of the abuse victims.
“There will be a lot of people watching you,” Wheaton told Lenczycki this morning. “This case engendered a lot of media attention and you will be closely monitored.”You have a heavy responsibility,” she continued. “The people in (the state treatment facility in) Rushville are counting on you to show how you act. You owe it to the people who were young, the victims, you owe them the responsibility. Don’t disappoint them.
“The court is going out on a limb. I decided this case not as a criminal case, but as a mental health case.”
So you mean to tell me that Judge Wheaton thinks that a man declared sexually violent with a pedophile problem is going to receive mental health treatment that will “cure” him? First of all he was only sentenced to 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual abuse of three boys in the 80s. So he got a slap on the wrist as far as I’m concerned.
What do you think about these terms of release for Lenczycki?
-
He’ll have a GPS ankle monitor on him.
-
He’ll register as a sex offender.
-
He’ll have to tell officials where he does go.
-
The judge will receive a report on his progress in 6 months.

A friend of ours is a criminal psychologist he says there is ZERO chance of changing pedofile rapistsHe’d lock them up and throw away the key.
My ex evaluates violent sex offenders for the courtsHe also says that there is zero chance of them being cured. He believes that they should be placed in secured living facilities that are run more like group homes than prisons.
His exact words are “they are lost and there’s nothing we can do to help them.”
My ex goes to the prison to evaluate violent pedophiles and rapists. After each visit, he was always depressed and emotional.
It’s a shame he will be out on the streets againand I bet he CAN get married. What a crock!?!?!
He could probably raise a family of sons to rape too
My concern iswhere in Cook County is he?
My question, as well.Cook County extends as far as parts of Elgin.
As alwaysone set of rules for “special” people and another set for everyone else.
Can you imagine his punishment if he wasn’t an ex-priest or wasn’t white?
Make the pope pay for all this moitoringI hope the church is paying all the expenses for monitoring. They should not only compensate the victims but also the taxpayers for having to care and monitor the perpetrators. If the church had done it’s job right the first time (earlier in his career) our taxes wouldn’t have to pay now. These church settlements should include court costs and release care.
HmA middle-aged white clergyman…so the judge “goes out on a limb”?
I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
I bet the judge is “deeply religious.” [Looks up a bio] Yep. Fascinating how she has so much trust in the priest. It’s not like the priest committed a crime that involved abuse of trust.
Jesus, deliver me from your followers. Seriously.
There’s a perfect place for someone like this! The position has been mechanized years ago, but before that the City of Chicago employed Crib Keepers (no not that kind of crib).
These were people that were assigned to the water intake cribs in Lake Michigan, about 2 – 3 miles offshore. They were relieved every two weeks and provisioned weekly. Their job consisted of keeping the water intake ports clear of debris and, in the winter, ice. There was no way for them to leave without officials knowing about it and there was no way for anyone to visit them – AT ALL!
Technically, they’re released, but logistically, they’re still isolated.
Sounds like a conflict of interest worthy of an official complaint
The solution is obvious!Exorcism!!!!! BWAAAAhahahahahaaaaaaaa!!!!!
Well, it seems to have worked for “Jeffrey” (above).
