Amanda Terkel of Think Progress found this tasteless Tweet:
Hate radio host Neal Boortz used his Twitter account this morning to compare the President’s visit to Wall Street to “sending a child molester to speak to a kindergarten class“:
Spewing hate is the norm for the Georgia-based radio host. In the past, he has said that health reform is going to “kill people,” compared those on unemployment insurance to “human parasitic garbage,” and referred to Katrina refugees as “debris” who were chased out by the hurricane.

It’s not getting betterAnd according to “Reliable Sources” on CNN Sunday, Glenn Beck has twice the viewers of Keith Olbermann. The followers of these media idiots are the percentage that didn’t vote for President Obama. They don’t want a black man as President, especially one that’s spending tax payers money on bailouts. It’s scary to think of a revolutionary war brought on by these pernicious jackals, Beck, Boortz, and Limbaugh.
Not surprising Although I don’t think he has gone completely off the deep end as far as Hannity and Limbaugh have, he has come quite close. I have not listened to any of the idiots on the right for some time now as they are all predictable and I truly couldn’t stomach them anymore. I did like to hear what the other side was saying, but when you know it is all the same garbage, why waste the time.
Nothing these dolts say will shock me anymore and their faithful listeners will walk lock step with them. A daily dose of Keith Olbermann will let you know they are still there and spewing the same crap.
The thing about the bailouts…is that they started before the election, to say nothing of when he took office.
On some level I think that this COULD be a good thing. What the country DESPERATELY needs is to have an open and honest conversation about the role of the (welfare) state. imbedded within that conversation is a desperately needed clearing of the air about race, class and the role of the state.
Unfortunately, we are not having that conversation. So much of the hatred pouring from these people are derrived from some misguided notion that government assistance means helping minorities at the expense of white Americans.
America’s corporate masters LOVE that the ignorant right are so easily led to believe that meme, precisely because it keeps them working in opposition to their own economic and social interests.
This reminds me of Bill Maher’s last closing piece on Real TimeHe compares Obama to Muhammad Ali
Ali said some very interesting things, but it also was good at times, he could throw a punch.

ditto…I used to actively seek out right wing news sources just so that I had an idea of how the other side viewed major issues and atleast try to understand their perspective.
They’ve gotten so over the top that I can’t stomach their opinions anymore. The rightwing pundocracy is even worse, sice most of the time I’m certain that they don’t believe half of the crap that they spew.
Twice the viewersbecause Beck is their one media source in relation to the degree of hatred and insanity that they crave and he spills out.
Liberals can listen to the mainstream, air america, and some Lesbians like Rachel and only watch her.
Poor O’Reilly has been left in the dust
Beck far exceeds Hannity nowBeck has entered the psychotic propagandist zone
I can’t help noticing, time and time again, that all of these hate-mongering media creeps are white. All of them. (And most of them are, er aggressively plump, in the bargain.) If racism isn’t what’s motivating them, at least in part, what else could account for that? Why are there no black, Hispanic or Asian equivalents of Beck, Joe Wilson and the rest? I suppose it’s possible that race is not a factor in their hate–Donna Brazile insisted that it isn’t, on CNN yesterday–but then you need to come up with an alternate explanation. I’m damned if I can think of one.
Wow. Ad hominem attacks are now par the course towards the Office of the President? Is there no respect for the person that does the job and treatment like human? For people who claim to be “moral” this strikes me as beyond rude and just down right disgusting.
shakes head perhaps returning to Canada would be a better option. At least there is a little more respect towards others and the person they are.
Michael Steele is the head of the RNC for a reason, So the RNC can say they aren’t racist. But I am with you, where is the Black or Brown version of Beck, Hannity, Ingram or Limbaugh? They to try to claim Jeremiah Wright is their exact adversary, but that is an epic fail from the start. Wright has less than .001% of the audience/supporters of the right wing.
And there’s Alan Keyes, too.Although he’s not been quite as visible of late.
Glenn BeckSometimes it’s important to shine a little light on people like Glenn Beck.
Message for Boortz:If I wanted to listen to an asshole, I’d fart.
“You Lie!”I just want to use Joe Wilson’s famous words against Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Savage, O’Reilly, and that “libertarian” Boortz.
Seriously, Neal…do you think that President Obama is going to molest and fondle Wall Street? It’s more likely that the fat cats on Wall Street are raping our economy.
I’ve noticed that tooAll these cranky overfed white men. So pissed their privilege and power (thank goddess) is slipping away.
Don’t let the door hit your bloated pasty carcass on the way out.

i used to listen to neal …… because he was less offensive than the other right wingers. he basically isn’t racist but more classest. he feels all poor people are lazy and not trying hard enough. his focus is more on people that work the system or are permanent victim types. the good poor people don’t do anything to get his notice so he doesn’t focus on them, and too bad too. he was especially vicious during katrina. his two saving graces are that he isn’t against gays or pot and he pushes the fair tax, which i love. he has been on the air in atlanta for 40 years and the more he ‘stirs the puddin”, as he calls getting the audience riled up, the more his radio station likes it. if you are angry and call in to bitch then he gets good strokes from his bosses. he is with cox communications. he has something the others don’t, a lot of knowledge about how the system works and a good legal mind [he used to practice law]. most of these bozos are stupid but neal is not and he is able to debate with most people in a lawyerly way to tie them up.
these bloviators are getting ratings and money from all the attention. in my mind the answer is zero attention from the left. no coverage on msnbc to start. we play their game by reacting. there needs to be a public shunning and when the cable newers stop feeding the pig and democrats turn a cold, frosty shoulder to them in dc then, maybe then, they may understand that it is time to be civil and start trying again. it keeps us mired in an ever escalating unproductive spiral. i’m starting to weary of the anger on the left too. i long for rational discussion and i am not finding much solice anywhere. i like how obama is calm, not a hothead, but he has blown a number of opportunities to change policy and he let them go. i like him but i can easily vote for someone else next time, like howard dean. if anything we should start looking for candidates to replace our current crop of democrats. they need to understand that it is very bad to get people’s hopes up and then dash them. that is a special hate.
