The health care debate goes over the sanity edge again, this time in Las Vegas, as a woman shouts “Heil Hitler” to a Jewish man who merely shared his support for Israel’s health care system, which is “both universal and compulsory, and is administered by a small number of organizations with funding from the government. All Israeli citizens are entitled to the same Uniform Benefits Package, regardless of which organization they are a member of, and treatment under this package is funded for all citizens regardless of their financial means.”
I'm with Jesse at Pandagon…this sh*t is so bigoted and disjointed that you don't know where to begin.
We have now reached the point in the American dialogue where a Jew from a country full of Jews is a Nazi because his people have banded together to provide for their own health. But those same Jews are also the Jews of liberal fascism, because everyone who lives under a socialized health care system is also a victim of the system, even if they inflicted it on themselves. So, at the end of the day, Israelis are both the Nazis and the Jews of liberal fascism, brutalizing themselves under their terrible regime of paying for their own improved health.

The problem is she heard his accent and saw his bald head and mistook him for a German in support of no health care reform. That and from the look on her face i wouldn’t say her elevator goes all the way to the top floor most days. First the fundies, then the dems, now anyone with a mouth is raising cane. Being Appalled is Getting So ExhaustingI work for a utility, in the customer service department, and I have noticed an upswing in racist complaints and comments from customers of late. Maybe all the publicized racist crap like this is making people feel empowered to spout the bullshit that has been festering in their brains.

The thing is, this is nothing new.The only new element is that they’re emboldened to the point of doing it in public. Amerika has always been a sinkhole of bigotry, intolerance, narrow-mindedness, and entrenched ignorance. Now that the creeps see their illusory “America” slip away from them, they’re getting braver and uglier. I don’t see how that can stop. I believe quite seriously that we’re seeing the beginning of the end of this country–an end to the cozy fiction that Americans are a people, united and proud of their nation. Those of us who belong to minorities have known it all along, but the mask is falling away and the rest are beginning to see the country for what is is. And what will our leaders do? Actually I think they know their end is near, They don’t even know what the truth is they are so angry about. They are completely clueless. They face on reality, many immigrants to this country truly know what socialism and fascism actually are. The sheeple that follow the words of Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity most likely have never been outside of the US to see how screwed up some of the rest of the world really is. They have never talked with people from the UK, France, Germany, Spain or Italy. They have no idea of what the people in Asia have lived and survived through.
All they really have is some whacked out false vision of doom and gloom that doesn’t exist. All the lies told during the Bush years and the old glory of going to war like the heroes of WWI and WWII are what they dream about. They long for another attack on this country to justify their thirst for bloodshed. Forward with death and destruction and the truth be damned.
The good news is they are not the majority of the American Population. And with the antics of the birthers and deathers, they are shrinking in numbers. These armed idiots showing up at townhall meetings have the average middle of the road American scratching their heads and collectively saying WTF.
They scream and yell, “We need to take America Back!” Back from who or what? President Obama has only been in office for SEVEN MONTHS. What has changed in their lives in the last seven months? Nothing.
These are the same bunch that got all pissed off as Americans where losing jobs at the end of the Bush Administration. And the Bush Administration just kicked the ball down the street and let President Obama to clean up the mess. The same group that wants to blame Unions for all the bad things that happened to GM and Chrysler, when the blame needs to be placed on the management of those two businesses. These are the same people that bailed out the banks and stood silently as home after home after home goes into foreclosure and did nothing.
These are the same people who let the oil companies rape the American Public with $4.00 a gallon gasoline and set record profits before the banks collapsed. And they are being raped by the insurance companies and are to dumb to blame them for why the costs and premiums have doubled or tripled in the last five years. These wackos are fighting for the insurance companies to continue the rape, pillage and plunder them. Now that is fucked up. And that is what is happening.
And they want to blame all this mess on people trying to fix the problem instead of stepping back, taking a deep breath, and seeing they are the problem. But since they listen to Limbaugh and Fox News who can’t tell the truth, they will never know they are the problem.

The TRULY sad part of this is…that this woman’s husband has no health insurance and she admits that premiums are rising out of control. Yet she opposes health care reform. She does not like that it “covers illegals” and hopes that the rebellion will remove Obama from office.
She is the very definition of tragic. She is openly fighting against her own interests. She’s just like that poor deluded/ignorant housewife that they had on CNN and MSNBC last week.

They don’t see this system helping “regular folks” like them. Indeed, there was an article on Drudge not too long ago that summed up their fears nicely. They think that it will help young minorities and screw older white folks.
