Jim Burroway over at Box Turtle Bulletin has a howler from anti-gay extremist Scott Lively.
In an amateur video posted this week on YouTube, Scott Lively talked about his work in “re-Christianizing America,” which is threatened by an “infrastructure collapse” brought on by that dreaded gay agenda:
Frankly, I see things simply disintegrating very rapidly and I believe that we’re going to suffer some kind of infrastructure collapse in this society because of the failure of moral culture, and that Christians have a responsibility to continue to oppose this disintegration.”.
So, does this mean roads, bridges, and tunnels will be destroyed by The Homosexual Agenda?! Better get some of those stimulus funds out there pronto.

An infrastructure collapse is a real possibility. But good gosh, it must be due to “immorality” and not due to the fact that Bush and the GOP congress let the infrastructure rot. Not that the Democrats are much better, mind you, but enormous, possibly irreversible damage was done during the Bush years. After all, what matters more, shoring up the country’s infrastructure or maximizing the profits of campaign contributors?
They always gloss over the factthat gay marriage states are doing better than the rest of the country.

Don’t forget the Obama Administration’s complicityIf the federal government is forced to recognize same-sex relationships, we will push the country over the edge to bankruptcy. Any criticism of comments like Lively’s will result in the rightwingnuts pointing out that they agree with Obama.
Um…..Actually, Autumn it was the anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11. The landing wasn’t until the 20th.
