Was it the embarrassment of the minnescule list of Twitter followers that finally got to Larry, or the embarrassment of his inability to keep tweet promises? In any case, anti-family activist Larry Stickney has dropped the Twitter badge from his web page and prevented unapproved followers from reading further tweets. Great way to build a grassroots campaign, Larry. Perhaps you think building a Twitter network is irrelevant. After all, you’ll have all those petition signer’s names, addresses and e-mails to sell or trade in secret. So why bother communicating with supporters in the light of day, right?Larry Stickney is the campaign manager of the misnamed Protect Marriage Washington, the anti-family organization behind Referendum 71. The goal of Ref 71 is to repeal the Domestic Partnership Expansion Law of 2009, which provides Washington’s domestic partners and their children with the same vital state-level legal protections and responsibilities that married couples and their children enjoy.

Twitter troubleI don’t know about Twitter. The night before last, I sent a tweet at a very famous male recording artist (who will remain nameless). He tweeted back and then sent me a very kinky direct message. We messaged back and forth for quite a while.
I am certain that this was actually the person because he sent me photos — not nude or anything. But, he’s really good at yoga!
I am really stunned that a celebrity would do something like that. Imagine if I were the kind of person who would share that kind of thing — maybe that’s what he wanted. I just don’t know.
I don’t mean to tease everyone. I just think this Twitter thing is going to result in quite a few scandals in the near future.
re: twitterSpeaking of twitter, the volume of Michael Jackson
related messagesup to 5,000 per minute at peak – put such demand on the site that it slowed considerably. there was an instant doubling of tweets per second the moment the story broke. Tis news about passing of such a global icon is the biggest jump in tweets per second since the US presidential election. So there were reports of slowness following the spike in activity.
