This is hilarious. Max Blumenthal, over at Huff Post, describes his trek to the Washington Hilton last week to the fundie bash known as the Values Voter Summit and filmed some of your favorite unhinged bible beaters. Take a look at his handiwork, “Theocracy Now: In Search of Values at the 2007 Value Voters Summit.” You know it’s going to be good when the first question he asks is “Are you a former homosexual?”
If anything, the movement seemed more extreme and paranoid than it did four years ago. Rev. Lou Sheldon, dubbed “Lucky Louie” by his former paymaster Jack Abramoff, told me that homosexuality is a “pathological disorder” and “a groove” that is difficult to escape from. He proceeded to passionately defend his friend, Senator Larry Craig, from allegations of homosexuality.
Star Parker, a former welfare cheat who had multiple abortions, claimed to me that abortion is the leading cause of death among African American women between the ages of 25 and 34. Then she described her wish for the forced quarantine of all “sodomites.” Parker was not a lone wacko milling around in the hallway; she was a speaker invited by the Family Research Council.
He has more over at Huff Post.

What a pathetic excuse……for a group of “human beings.” Seems like the only two things that drive their “mission” are abortions and homosexuals (led by individuals of rather dubious personal character, at that). That said, it is a stark commentary for the state of their cause when these people get behind someone like Mitt Romney as “their guy.”Please expalin where the idiot that said getting rid of public schools is somehow consistent with “christian values” gets his warped logic…I'm really curious what that loobyist guy meant when he said that he and Larry Craig “do lots of stuff together” — hmmmmm…
I know its flogging a dead horse yet again, but…I'm sorry. I've been saying that they don't know the difference between the T and the LGB. Straight from the video and the horsefaced mouth:
And some people want to say there's been no groundwor laid by the T? Outside of that, however, I gotta say that the bullshit in that video scares the crap outta me.
Paranoid lifestyleThere is no treatment for it. If you think a sky god is looking at your every move, including wiping your ass, you are paranoid.
I love Max.So, Star Parker wants concentration camps? I'm sure she's not the only one. When you call for concentration camps, Godwin's Law be damned. You're a God-damn Nazi.
Theocracy ridiculed“Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage,” Saul Alinsky – Rules for Radicals
i think it’s great that she had a lot of abortionsit's obviously given her lots of free time to bash gays and demand quarantine for them, time that she would have otherwise spent struggling to do actual hard labor–and lots of it–to feed her lot-of-unaborted babies.
Should Be The Other Way AroundStar Parker, along with the “christian conservatives” and “ex gays” want gays exterminated, when it should be the other way around. The gays aren't the busybodies like 4-time abortionist Miss Parker. People are sick of these people spying on them with binoculars, and it's the “conservatives” who needs to be put away for good.
Not a dead horse at all. It just rings true that they hate all that are different from them. Their hate has no boundries period, it is their way or death. Yes, these pople are very scary. Concentration camps for gays, too many mosques. This so called values group is demented, and that is being nice.
I guessbeing gay myself, I know I have “knocked-up” a lot of women in my days and then forced them to have abortions!!!! LOL LOL LOL. This does make a lot of sense that it is the fags fault that she does/didn't use birth control.
